About CU Mutual Aid
In 2020, Champaign-Urbana residents and community organizations worked together to meet the needs in our community caused by the COVID-19 pandemic through local efforts like CU Mutual Aid.
While COVID-19 brought many challenges, we also learned the power we have when we come together to meet the needs of our fellow community members.
We want to carry that power forward by connecting with neighbors and groups from across Champaign County to continue to support each other in important ways.
Let's get in touch
As we reorganize and look ahead, we are going to focus on amplifying all of the incredible work to connect individuals with resources already happening in our community. We will also amplify any individual requests for assistance.

Please note that CU Mutual Aid operates from a position of trust in our fellow community members. We do not screen requests or otherwise pass judgment on our fellow community members. If a community member reaches out to ask us to share a request for assistance, we will do so in good faith. We trust that members of our community will respond to these efforts according to their own capacity.
